Dubai Polo Gold Cup – New year, New cup
Tuesday the 13th of January it was announced that the Swiss private bank Julius Bär will be the title sponsor of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup, which will be held from the 23rd of February and the final match will be played on the 13th of March 2015. Last year the title sponsor was Bentley Dubai.
This is only one of many changes that have been made to the Dubai Polo Gold Cup since last year’s cup. The first change we saw was the upgrade in team handicap, last year the total team handicap was 16, this year it has been raised to 18. Also the amount of teams has been increased, showing that the Dubai Polo Gold Cup is in fact becoming even more popular and recognized worldwide. If you have a chance to go to any of the matches and even better the final, then go! It is a spectacular tournament with some top players from around the world. The game is fast and powerful, fun for everyone watching.
